Wow, the pictures/presentation doesn't do the actual flavor justice. I think this was one of the best uni pastas I've ever had and I've had many. The wait times can get out of hand, so we came right at 5PM on a Wednesday and stood in line because there was already a line forming. Parking is $6 cash only in the lot. Again, come early because the lot fills up fast. The uni pasta was incredible I finished everything on my plate. The ragu was also amazing had more of a beef pot roast/tomato flavor. And the noodles were cooked perfectly

TLDR; Incredible mom and pop Japanese-Italian (but leaning more Italian in terms of flavor profile) pasta, with excellent service and gigantic portions.

Why did I wait so long to come here!? I understand the hype about this place now. You gotta get here as soon as it opens, otherwise brave a wait outside. The uni pasta and mentai cream pasta seem to be the most popular items from what fellow Yelpers have raved about, but I opted for the Carbonara and I did not regret it.

One thing to note about this place is the portion size. Unlike most Italian places, you'll get about twice the amount instead. The pasta came out perfectly al dente, hot, creamy, and topped with a generous amount of parmesan. It is a pasta lover's dream. Each bite was filled with creamy goodness, hot and fresh. These people do Italian food right. Very worth the price.

Everything comes with a bowl of salad and bread with olive oil. Honestly the salad dressing was a bit too tart for me. It would be awesome if the dressing could be that sesame miso stuff you find at other Japanese restaurants, but it's okay because you don't come here for the salad lol.

Staff is very nice. The server seemed super busy but she was always nice and friendly with us. I wish the seats in the back were farther apart from each other, as it could feel claustrophobic when another party sits down next to yours.

The food was amazing. The pasta was bomb. It was a cute fusion of Japanese and Italian food flavor was on point pasta wasn't too soggy and I like how they were accommodating with the time they stayed open a little late even though it was past closing hours just so they can serve the last of the customers, so that was sweet

This was just my type of meal: rich, creamy, and flavorful. I came with one other person and we shared the uni pasta, mentai pasta, and chicken gizzard appetizer. The gizzards may not be everyone's cup of tea, but I thought it was deliciously rich and oily - the taste profile was similar to escargot. Dip the bread they give you in the sauce. The uni and mentai pasta were both delicious and cooked perfectly al dente. I liked the mentai pasta a better, but don't think I could've finished the whole thing myself because of how rich it was. Portions were generous and server was friendly, although it was hard to get her attention since there was only one server for the whole place. We came at 12 on a weekday and were seated immediately, but the restaurant got full quickly.

No reservations, so be prepared for a little wait if your party is large! But for groups of 2, almost little to no wait. Service is fast and food comes out hot and quick! Service is also excellent here.

We love the Italian and Japanese pasta dishes the best! Pasta e Pasta is best know for their Uni Pasta so that is a must order for first timers. My favorite pasta is actually the Bacon and Mushrooms with Japanese Style Sauce. The perfect mix of Italian and Japanese! The spaghetti is al dente and the sauce is a dashi and soy sauce base. It is topped with grated radish and lemon.

Each pasta dish comes with bread and a light Japanese-style side salad. I like to drizzle their spicy olive oil on everything.

Pasta e Pasta is a great place for a date night or a delicious meal to catch up with a bestie!

Amazing food! Came here by recommendation from my colleague and it did not disappoint! We ordered the chicken gizzards as a starter and they were so tender and flavorful! I ordered the mentai pasta and it was so creamy! I was worried it would have a strong umami flavor but you could not taste the cod roe. My husband ordered the genovese and I was almost jealous by the smell alone! Perfect garlic ratio to the basil pesto and the shrimp were the perfect texture! Our new pasta spot! If you've ever had pasta sisters, this place beats it!
